Purchase of a solar power plant under a joint project
The opportunity to receive EUR 37,569.70 in support from the joint project “Investment support for ground-mounted solar power plants”, following an application to the Lithuanian Energy Agency, prompted UAB „Šiaurės banga“ to plan the installation of a 100 kW ground-mounted solar power plant.
The joint project is being implemented under the economic recovery and resilience plan “New Generation Lithuania”, financed by the European Union recovery and resilience facility “NextGenerationEU”.

Boosting competitiveness through e-commerce solutions
UAB „Šiaurės banga“ carried out the project “Boosting the competitiveness of UAB „Šiaurės banga“ through the deployment of e-commerce solutions”, No. 13.1.1-LVPA-K-860-01-1463. The project was implemented under the measure “E-commerce model COVID-19”, part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund. Funded as part of the European Union’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. EUR 24,750.00 of EU financial support was allocated to the project to cover eligible costs.
The aim of the project was to deploy business solutions that increase the company’s revenue growth. The company’s core activity is workwear rental and its ongoing care. To keep operations running efficiently during the COVID-19 outbreak in Lithuania, the company introduced a customer self-service system and integrated it with its existing systems, enabling orders to be managed automatically and giving customers full access to managing the service. These investments created favourable conditions for growth and productivity – all the main workwear rental processes were accelerated and automated.
